This project aims to show the format's evolution of the "TV Series" since the 50s until the present day throughout an analysis about the TV influence in post-modern society, dealing with censorship and controversial subjects to the highly refined visual communication in the 00s and its applied technologies. The methodology used was the analysis of series from the 50s to the present day, creating a line of evolution and development with the society and the content television producers, which one has influences to the other at being co-dependent to get results - the audience is watching what the television shows; the television shows what the audience wants to watch.
